Hi Nycki, all,

Glad to see you are on top of this.  It is odd to think that the "Feeling Good" chapters are too long--and Burn's style is so friendly  and accessible as well.  However, something is wrong, and your hunch may be right, Nycki.    I hope so, because it's an easy fix:  Dr. Burns must go!  Go, Dr. Burns.  Go!    Wink      In any case, starting new with something fresh might be just what is called for.  We certainly welcome using Dr.  Edelstein's book if that is what members would like and would  respond to.   If it is decided to go ahead with this, it is easy to order "Three Minute Therapy" online at Amazon.com ==> http://snurl.com/3minute .  I am embarrassed to say that I have not read the book yet myself, so will be ordering my own copy soon.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank Nycki very, very much for her consistency and dedication to this project.  I know how much work it is, and how frustrating it can be when participation is not what was hoped for.  We all owe her a debt of gratitude.  Along with that, I want to apologize for my lack of participation.  The book study is "my baby", and my intuition remains as strong as it did originally that this represents a  way to provide true therapeutic-education and add a vital, two-way, interactive learning experience that fills the gap between solitary reading and study and going to a therapist (which many are unable to do for financial, logistical and other reasons). Of course, I didn't invent book study groups which have existed for decades, long before the internet.  However, I think applying this to actually using CBT-REBT might be a new wrinkle.   I really believe this;  we just need to figure out the correct approach and discover the right "formula."   I regret that I have six other projects gong on right now and and stretched to the limit.  Every morning, I begin my day feeling overwhelmed, wondering how I will every complete everything and get back to a more even keel.  Eventhough I can only check in and participate occasionally, I have the greatest interest in the project, and am very pleased and grateful for those of you who have participated and supported this project so far.

Always feel free to contact me with any questions or if there is anything I can do to be helpful.

Mahalo nui loa & Aloha!

Rex
