MISSION STATEMENT

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, as well as, other cognitive behavior therapies are very "psycho-educational" in nature. It is believed that if a person can learn the basic principles, vigorously work at applying the principles, and engrain these principles- cognitively, behaviorally, and emotively- it will ultimately lead to less disturbance and produce a more enjoyable life.
The purpose of REBT Central is to provide an online community to learn and practice the principles of REBT. It is a place to gain information, to debate ideas, and to receive encouragement from others, around the world, who are also striving to implement these same principles into their own lives. |
