Hello all,
Micah and I are very pleased to announce the launch of the brand new REBT Central Discussion Forum at http://snipurl.com/REBTCentral . This is a natural outgrowth of the CBT-REBT Forum Yahoogroup that you that some of you may already be familar with. Of course, listserv e-mail discussion groups such as the CBT-REBT Forum Yahoogroup and message board type forums such as this REBT Central each have distinct advantages and disadvantages. Message boards are certainly more versatile in allowing for multiple discussions going on simultaneously without interfering with one another. At the same time, boards make it easier to keep discussions focused to on a single topic. Also, as the need arises, multiple moderators can be appointed to look after specific topic forums which helps to lighten and democratize the admin burden.
Our great hope is that a message board format will provide the opportunity to do more actual disputing, the benefits of which are obvious . . . and also to maintain a historical record of that disputing which will then provide (we hope) an enormously valuable learning tool for those seeking to acquire REBT skills; researchers, professional as of course regular civilians. The same can be said for the (long lost) Book Study Group which we will be starting very soon on REBT Central. See separate message about that.
We are not 100% ready for prime time yet. A few admin documents such as a Mission Statement and a FAQ still have to be written, there may be a bit of tweaking and tuning as we work out the bugs . . . But we are open for business right now! Please drop by, sign up for username and password, look around, jump right in posting. Please share your reactions, comments, questions, observations, suggestions, even criticisms (If you must!  ). Your feedback is vital and appreciated. Also, please spread the word far and wide. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.
This could be the start of something big! Please doing in and let us here from you.

Dont forget to come join in with it when youre able too. It wouldnt do for you to be missing out on the best 'self-help' there is out there! Feel free to post as much or as little as u like. Ur opinions matter too!
